Florida Spring Lawn Tips

It's Michael Augaitis, owner of Florida Gardens Lawn and Shrub Care.

I just wanted to give a real quick update on some of the issues that I'm seeing right now in our clients properties.

Watering

Right now the number one thing is watering. We're kind of transitioning from the winter season into the warmer,. hot spring.

Get your watering system checked out to make sure it's covering properly and make sure that you're getting the most out of your sprinkler system. I cant stress how very important this right now for Florida lawns.

Fire Ants

I'm also seeing a lot of fire ants.

Keep an eye out for these bad boys in your yard. Fire ants can bite and man do they sting.

Weeds

Can forget about weeds.

Lots of plants and flowers are in bloom, but so are weeds. Now is the time to get weeds under control before they get out of hand.
